PRE ENROLMENT AND REGISTRATION UPDATE FOR 2026/2027

Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the March 25th deadline to help our school get ready for 2026–27!

We’re happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre-enrolled before the deadline of March 25th at 4:00 PM have been accepted.  More information will be forthcoming  We look forward to seeing your family in the fall!

Thelma Chalifoux School is now FULL in planned classes in the STEM and REGULAR Program for 2026 - 2027. For the 2026 - 2027 school year, we will now only accept resident students who are newly moved into the school's attendance area for the REGULAR Program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school who has space in planned classes.

GROWTH CONTROL MODEL - LEVEL 2

Over the past four years, Thelma Chalifoux School has experienced exponential growth and is now near capacity. We are a Level 2 on the Division's Growth Control Model which was introduced in 2019 to manage enrolment and growth in schools. The model allows as many resident students as possible to attend a school close to home without changing attendance boundaries. A resident student has at least one parent or guardian living in Edmonton who is also not Roman Catholic.
